td05 turbo or similar
the housing of my td05 h turbo (93 wrx) is split but all the internals are ok. Was wondering if anyone would know where either I could get a casing/housing alone or a cheap replacement turbo?
Cheers

i have been told that I need the part number to be one of the following:
49178-06290
49178-06300
or 49178-06390,
or does any td05 turbo fit an early WRX?

What people including myself have done is converted the turbo into a straight entry turbo that normally is found on the later cars (the turbo inlet pipe now goes under the manifold)
I think thats right, so if you can source an unmodified TD05 you should be fine.
