Steel d/v bung....bailey etc etc
Hi all, fitted an HKS sequential dumpvalve yesterday, I know,I'm a chav but I don't think that the bung that is part of the kit is long enough as it's become dislodged once already, I did find it though luckily.
Has anyone got a spare steel bung that's about 35-40mm in length. It's the one for the pre-facelift classic, pre late '96.
Thanx.
Si.

Yeah, put jubilee clip on although not sure how tight yesterday, today it's very tight.
The problem may be that this bung is hollow, bailey ones are solid and almost half inch longer, I just wanna be sure.

Should be fine - there's no pressure to pop it off - its simply there to stop rubish getting in the system.
I always tie wrap them to the I/C Bracket or nearest anchour point, to stop them flapping around & knocking the bung out.
