Hi All

I'm after a TD04 or similar sized turbo to use for a project (see MSc Project ideas thread). I'm going to replace the bearing with a foil bearing to enable the turbo to run oil-free without wear. Ideally I'd like 2 identical turbos, one with a good traditional bearing, and one with knackered bearing for me to replace. If you have either of those please get in touch

Sorry, had forgotten about this thread. Forgive my ignorance but what's the difference between FE and 90deg? I know FE seems to be considered better. Either will do me as it's just for a uni research project in which I'll replace the bearing with an oil-free foil bearing, perhaps it will eventually end up on my Impreza GL (hence low boost requirement). If anyone has one that will match a student's budget let me know
