Probably stating the obvious here - have you tried the 'Subaru Breakers' post above - i have no experience of 'em so cannot say what they are liek but worth a try

Seems to be a popular requirement. I managed to get a second hand one for £30 a while back, just to give you an indication of what to pay.

I suggest plan b, having seen your other thread, insist on it being fixed under warranty.

I have had several car with Aircon and never had that problem thru 1000's of miles, and know countless friends with aircon cars who have never had a problem.

My mother's new fiesta was recently badly damaged by an idiot who overtook at highspeed through roadworks when they had just put the gravel down (1.5k insurance claim, I kid you not), the aircon survived that.

If you do a search I think you'll find other posts re aircon being damaged by stones. A design flaw I think.

Not looking forward to that happening to mine, but I would definitely fight the claim if it happended.
