i need a vin plate from a UK spec 94MY so i can go to my local Subaru dealer (Sparshatts) and purchase a nearside headlamp they wont touch MY94 WRX (BAS@~*DS we dont need the money) can anyone help please E-Mail

Could someone send me a VIN plate as well as I'd like to cut and shut some cars for a quick profit

Yes, You could swap it for a stolen one as well

Seriously, are IM that paranoid that you can't buy simple parts to fit yourself without having to take the car into the dealer? (Stupid Question I know )

But, surely they would not be fooled by a WRX with a UK VIN number? I think if they did see one they would be straight onto Plod!

Give Roger Clark Motorsport a call on (01455) 828610 and they will get one for you without needing a VIN number.

You can't buy - or rephrased as you shouldn't be able to buy without them taking your VIN. What he means is Charlie, he will say I have a MY94 UK - this is my VIN, and they will ship the part. He isn't going to say - this is my WRX and this is the VIN for it. IM really are that paranoid - and no garage would help me without me admitting that it was an import- and only then only 2 garages were prepared to ship me the part I needed based on my GC8 number! Interesting.

i didnt meen to upset anyone all i wanted was a chassis number from a uk car so i could get myself a headlight for my wrx sorry guys and girls

Have you tried the breakers. I got one a year or so back, it was half the price of a new one and they don't give a flying t*ss if its for a UK or import!

Did you get the vin no. you wanted? if not i`ll e mail you one from my 94 spec u.k car which was written off . I just so happen to remember it.
