I've only just found the bottom pipe has been off mine for sometime. Would this damage it. With car running now and vacuum pipe still unconnected, it's making a loud tappety sound. Can't connect pipe because it isn't there any other end on inlet resonator box has been glued up!!

does it run ok because my resonator box broke there and they said that it wouldnt boost up properly then cut out.
