Im after 1 set of standard front pad anti-squeel shims (both the solid one and the one with vents in) for a classic?

Anyone.........please?

I was told not to bother with them, so chucked 'em out on first pad change. No squeal, no problem just coated the back of the pad with copper slip.

I'm after same as have copperslipped my fronts, works for a while but as pad wears down, shims needed as copperslip not enough.

If you hear where to get ahold of shims, let me know.

Just had a word with my local garage (ex Subaru dealer) and they are getting hold of some shims for me (£5 a corner).

As I said, if you need details of where to purchase some, pm me and I'll let you have the details.

I received a set on Wednesday, fitted them over the weekend and all my squeaks, squeals and rattles have gone. Seem to have a better feel through the pedal now too, as the pistons were starting to create bunkers' in the backside of the brake pad!
