Classic front pad anti-squeel shims
 

Im after 1 set of standard front pad anti-squeel shims (both the solid one and the one with vents in) for a classic?

Anyone.........please?

I was told not to bother with them, so chucked 'em out on first pad change. No squeal, no problem :) just coated the back of the pad with copper slip.

I'm after same as have copperslipped my fronts, works for a while but as pad wears down, shims needed as copperslip not enough.

If you hear where to get ahold of shims, let me know.

Just had a word with my local garage (ex Subaru dealer) and they are getting hold of some shims for me (£5 a corner).

I received a set on Wednesday, fitted them over the weekend and all my squeaks, squeals and rattles have gone. Seem to have a better feel through the pedal now too, as the pistons were starting to create bunkers' in the backside of the brake pad!
