Blew up my STI Type R engine in Brunei, looking for engine block for my car, any one pls help.

 

I saw a complete STi V engine for sale in this weeks Motoring News (£2.7k). Unfortunately I don't have it any more, but I'm sure someone else out there could find the telephone number and post it up to help out Norazmi.

 

Complete Engine .. Version 5(brand New) .. coming soon.
If you just need the engine block .. might have a Version 2 STI-RA block. No crankshaft cos' the bearing is destroyed
Have a STI V3 block too but only 1 side. Can't remember which side it is. Will check if you are interested.
I have cylinderhead ...errr only 1 too. Well the car crash big time. Even the gearbox is not straight anymore. Is a low milege engine.

Thanks for the reply, my car is version 4 and only bought it last Nov. I just need the block not the whole engine. If you have any info pls reply..

 

Anybody know what type of engine block is Sti Type R ver4, is it close deck or not?

Yes, it will be a closed-deck block

 

JohnS-is it possible for me to rebuilt the engine using STI RA ver2 block, is all the parts from my previous engine suitable!!!
