Petrol restrictor nozzel
#2
Your friendly Subaru dealer will reach for the crucifix and garlic if you ask for one.
Your options are:
(a) Buy one from a Grey dealer. Usually these are lash ups which will last about one day beyond the SVA test.
(b) Buy a UK spec fuel filler neck from a Subaru dealer. I seem to remember the price is about £125. If your car is a four or five door the fuel filler neck is a straight swap for the Japanese spec. Quality part and the restrictor stays in place.
(c) Buy a UK spec fuel filler neck secondhand. You can use the filler neck from a four or five door, turbo or non turbo. They are all the same. I paid £20 for a secondhand filler neck. About half an hour to fit and you don't even spill any petrol in the process.
