i have a z4 , u8 and a 3b.

the z4 has been modded in some way by INTEC RACING TECHNOLOGY and has a three wire ribbon cable coming out of casing with a rocker switch on it. i dont know what the switch is for but it came in my 96 wrx. i did a search on intec to try to find out what exactly i had but came up with no results. ive fitted a 2.5 into my car now and have replaced the z4 with a pfc. if i get a decent offer for any of the above ecu's then i will sell.

Hmm fancied a standard Z4 to be honest with you as a trial I have the standard ECU in my MY93 WRX which has had a board fitted to sort the boost problem that it had I'm pushing 266bhp at the moment but fueling seem to be a problem ( it drinks the stuff )

on ave i was getting 240 miles per tank and the car performed very smoothly with no aggressive boosting. i tried the switch in both positions and felt no difference in performance. my suspicions are that some other engine management equipment had been in the car b4 i got it and that the switch may have been to do with that as i noticed some other "wiring mods" in the loom just b4 the connectors for the ecu. if you are running rich, have you tried a known working MAF rather than the ecu??

I don't think I have MAF problems it's only since the board was fitted on the ECU that it seems to drink fuel, my idea is that I get hold of Z4 run it get it on a rolling road and see what it puts out if not any better just sell it on
