MAFFA,
I panicked yesterday as I need to drive the car on Friday so need to sort it on Thursday evening so paid a breaker for a pair.
What had to be done to your car (or was it your g/f) after SSO at Evlington?
When we removed that plug to find the end missing it was relief to find the problem but then shock to then realise the end of the plug will have been bouncing around all the valves etc..

Mate you don't wanna know
Ended up getting an STI4 lump in it as the logistics & hassles of trying to sort a 0.5 oversized block that was knackered proved just to much for the misses. That plug basically buggered a piston, a few valves & a cylinder. One tiny piece of metal
