Yep tried most of the Golf sites. Thing is I'm looking for a mint one and don't want to pay silly money for it!

Just saw a nice 205 GTi today - only 80K miles with FSH. It's very tempting

Finding a decent Mkii GTI is hard at the mo, most have been modded to the hilt and abused somewhat (I've been looking for another one for a couple of months now).

Saw a 5 door (unfortunately) 16v for sale for £5.5k the other week! One owner from new, concourse condition etc, 45k miles!

Thanks I've had a look at the Just GTi's site - The one I like is £4K!

I've just sold my Focus ST170 so the 205 GTi is just going to be a runabout for 3-6 months until I can find a decent Mk2 16V.

I thought it would take months to shift the Focus so I wasn't seriously looking for another car! I didn't really except the first person who came to see it to buy it.

I had a Mint 8v which I sold with <90k on it 2 years ago on this bbs, wish I had kept it now
