Question

Hi all,

I used to own a MY96 2.0 Sport and I'm now after a classic shape, face-lift model Turbo but I'm in need of info as I'm un-sure what to get.

What I am after is any links or information on the techs and specs of all the impreza's, both home grown and imported.

Some things in particular I would like to know are:

What improvements were made to the facelift model?
Engine / body / suspension mods etc.

What differences are there between imports and UK spec cars?
I know there are probably loads but any info or big differences will be appreciated.

What are the differences between WRX, WRX STi and WRX STi Type R Jap import cars? (apart from price!)
Again, just after any engine / suspension / body differences.

Basically, what I am looking for is the best car I can get for the money I have. My budget is £8k.

What can you recommend? and why?

Thanks for the help.

The SIDC FAQ would be a good place to start!
