Try Demon Tweeks, they are Whiteline stockists now, and they sell the whiteline ALK for £86.73 for upto MY00, 97.04 inc vat MY01 onwards. I have this kit fitted to my MY98 and found it made a difference. You can contact them on 01978 664466. Hope this helps

Edited cause I got the price wrong

website is cr@p IMHO - they've hardly any products on it and I cound't find any mention of the ALK or any Whiteline kits for that matter (looking for the brake support bracket myself).

Ozzy,

Totally agree mate, no listing for a ALK for anything, let alone an Impreza. Hmm, great stuff

Phil,

Have you seen this?

Might be worthwhile having the geo changed if you fit the kit and find the same problems as John.

Ozzy,

OMG, I think I won't bother then. As I said previously, I'm well pleased with my current setup, so think I leave the ALK well alone. I like the way the car will slightly over-steer on full power now. Have you played with your anti roll bar yet ? I wondered what increasing the settings might do ?

No, haven't played with it. I've been a bit too close to hedges and ditches already without "experimenting"

How about you?

No mines set on the normal setting (anti roll bar) and the whole package works very well. Got my coilover set to about 7/8 on the front and about 5/8 on the rear. I think this is about right now. A mate (Mouse) also with a RB5 WR has near enough the same suspension, but his tends to slide a little to much in the wet, but think he's running more damping on the rear.

I think I'll do a trackday at Castle Combe and play around with all the settings to see what works well. Trouble is what works well for the dry, doesn't mean it'll be outstanding in the wet

Boo

What tyres are you both running? I'm on std dampers and Eibach springs. Think your coilover setup will make a bigger difference.

Whiteline posted on here a while back, talking about different ARB settings. They suggested only setting it to the stiffest setting if the front was upgraded and that it would only really help high-speed cornering stability/understeer. They didn't think you'd get much benefit at lower speeds with the stiffer kits.

I using Goodyear GDS2 (I think) all round at the moment, and did think they were rubbish until I changed all the suspension. They seem a lot better now, but I'm a great lover of SO2s. Pressure set to 30 rear, 36 front as I found this worked best. I have some SO3s in the garage on spare rims, so might try them soon

Well pleased with my (cheap and nasty (as some have said)) coilovers.

I thought the stiffest setting on the anti roll bar was for high speed (i.e Tracks) but will have a play soon

I agree about the comments with the website, it is fairly crap. Their catalogue is much better with a high range of products. Unfortunately they don't catergorise based on vehicle, they do so based on product, so you might actually have to 'look' for the products... what a concept. No one said they were the best, you asked for a supplier, which they are. Is picking up a phone and talking to someone really so difficult?

As for the ALK, I tend to think that opinions vary so much its something you either try for yourself or simply choose not to bother. With so many mixed reviews, who's to say? I certainly couldn't comment on anything except my own vehicle, as I am not a suspension expert...
