has any one got a lapto for that price?

Been offered a compaq armada 700. Its P3 800MHz with 200 MB RAM, DVD, XP for £450 including postage. Any one do better.

You'll struggle. The Armada 700 is a good solid piece of kit IMO.

Dabs are selling the Compaq Evo N1015v for £540.48

AMD Athlon XP 1700+, 128MB, 20GB, XP Home, CD/DVD

Admittedly it only has 128MB of ram but that has got to be a much better laptop than the one you are looking at and is brand new.
