I currently have a TD05 on my WRX, covered about 65000 miles, I am just about to put on a MD309 and convert to a front entry turbo. If you require it bear me in mind.
Cheers Kevin.

there's no such thing as a Sti4 with CDB as standard.
CDB was only available on pre94 engines, and RAs up to first half 1996.
Your only bet is to buy a block seperately and put some new pistons in. The only diffence between an sti4 short engine and say a 1995 RA short engine is the pistons.

Right, time for project "mental" to start - Looking for a Phase 1 CDB (off a 95 RA if poss!) and Inlet manifold for STi IV . Manifold must be VGC but am prepared for average condition CDB as if will be rebored to 2.1 and oversize pistons/rings used. Also looking for TD05 to convert to front entry
Need to get this ready for Xmas! (prezzie to me)
