Does anyone have a VF22 or indeed any other turbo to replace my blown TD05. Must be in good working order as I am prepared to pay flipin great wadges of cash for the right one.

 

Zippo, I have a hybrid VF22. Just had it checked over by Turbo Dynamics. Looking for 800 quid.

Would that be a direct replacement for my TD05 or would I be looking at some mods here and there? I know these things can make good power but can they be bolted to a standard WRX (MY95)?

 

Zippo, cant remember if tyour TD05 is straight entry or bent inlet?

If its straight entry then it will fit. If its the bent sort then some re-arranging is required.

If you've blown a TD05, a VF22 isn't going to last you very long !

Generally, the TD05 is deemed bulletproof and the VF22 a bit fragile.

 

I have a brand new VF23 if thats any good to you
unused in the sealed bag yours for ? make me a offer

 

VF22/23 standard are worse than useless

Thats why people pay the dosh for and get a Hybrid done at TDyanmics.. then they seem to last just as well

I know I went through a VF22 and got the second and sent it to TD..!
