I am looking for a stock STi backbox. I am looking for one for the GC8 which has the embossed STi logo on the tip. I think the ones that have this are versions 4-6. I also need it shipped to the U.S.A.

If you do a bit of investigation I think you may find the new STi7 backbox will fit. The difference between the classic and new age backboxes was that the new age has an extra hanger. I assume this can be either left in place providing it dosen't interfere with the car body, alternatively it could be cut off. Scoobynetters please correct me if I'm wrong. The new STi7 box is very nice.

I have a stainless steel rear box from my P1 (STI embossed at tip). Car is registered September 2000 (exhaust was replaced with prodrive P1 rear box, from new).

Willing to sell for $100 + shipping.

msp1- I have heard that you can make them fit as well, I just figured it would be easier to just use a GC8 STi backbox.

Tyson- This may seem like a dumb question, but is that in US dollars or in pounds?

Matter of choice, the advantage of a 7 is that it will only be 6 months old. Classic box may be 2 years old or more.
