Anyone swapping ECUs from Motec to anything else?

Will contribute heavily towards your replacement.

Cheers

Gussie, Motec units dont care what car they go on. You just need to get the correct loom adapter.

You've more chances of winning the Lottery (Jackpot) than finding one of these for a cheap price.....

Ah well Steve, if you dont ask, you dont get!

Was interested in Tim Bomfords GEMS ECU but as far as I can tell, its for a later car than mine.

Is this a case of just using a different loom like for the Motec or not?

no, the gems doesnt use a loom adapter, it is model specific.

You need a two plug loom adapter for a motec, the gems is a three plug ecu.
