I want Justice........Ok so not sposed to be discussing this here but why lock and not move. As CHRIS L has said these said spoilers are illegal AND HE HASN'T EVEN SEEN ONE..........
Whats all that about ?
Answers on post card please as this will be deleted even though I WANT justice so its technically in the right forum.

It was the big debate about the so called "prodrive" spoiler........I was just venting some steam. But Chris sent me a e-mail confirming they dont know whether these are illegal or not but they just don't wanna pi$$ off prodrive. Even though I very rarely see them contribute only to stick their overpaid oar in from time to time.

I give up - I have tried to explain this, but you continue to twist this Steve. If you or anyone else wants to buy these spoilers feel free to do so - just don't do it on Scoobynet. In the same way if someone in the computing forum put up a post asking for copied software we would delete it.
Of course we haven't seen one - have you? As has already been explained at least three times, WE as the moderators took a decision to remove the post as the content was deemed to be a potential problem for Scoobynet. Just because people don't add comments to every thread everyday doesn't mean they don't read the forums and know what is going on.
This is the final post on this - I refuse to keep justifying my actions to one person. If you do not like the policy, please feel free to go elsewhere.

Cat,
I'd leave it alone now m8. We've got what we want. A list of buyers to ensure that we get the best value for money (something Prodrive don't seem to appreciate).
The Mods are just practicing the old age art of 'Rectum Protectum'!!!
Let it be buddy, let it be...

We don't do this to be awkward bast***s - deleting posts really is the last resort. There is no hidden agenda or outside influence from a third party.
There are times when we have to act. Scoobynet currently recieves in excess of 10 million hits a month - it is widely known and read. We tread a fine line between allowing people to do and say what they want and protecting Scoobynet.
If you had any idea of the times that Scoobynet has been threatened with serious legal action you would start to understand why we do what we do. It is Simon's head on the block, not ours. One large legal case would probably finish Scoobynet and I don't think anyone wants to see that.
I'm sorry if this offends some people or if some people don't like it, but it is a harsh reality.

Thanks - someone understands me!
I hope we can put this behind us now. With the benefit of hindsight we would have been better to have deleted or edited the original thread before it was so widely read. We're not perfect and we don't get it right every time, but we try to make what we thing are the right decisions for Scoobynet.
I'm locking this thread now as I think it has served its purpose. Thank you all for your input.
