You can get a brand new Vibe 8" sub with amp built onto the back of it. Its a mini wedge, and sounds pretty damn good for an 8". my g/f has got it in the back of her car, and its much better than some 10" subs i've heard that my mates have.

It cost her £250 new and that was fitted by a very good local place. I suppose it all depends on what kind of car you have, she's got a little hatch so the sounds travels round the car nicely, scoobs are more of a git to get the sounds to travel, at least my uk my97 was, hence why I spent £2000+ on my ice.

yeah me and my mates love the sound scene. I havent got that mental yet. The most i went to is 4 12s in my golf but always ended up changing my system. my mates, well they are mental. One has got a klio as a mess about and we ended up stripping the car completely, putting in laptops in the screen, 6 12s and some other trick features such as video cameras etc. Not finished yet but will be soon!

I usually get most of my stuff from the US cheap.

Dannyboy, i have a 12 Rocky sub sitting about. I did have 2 which i paid £300 for them both. The guy i bought it off paid £720 for the 2 as they are the 99 model and seriously do have sick power but can still be pused with a small amp. It isnt in a box but i will probably sell it for £100 just to make some space in the bedroom. Not sure if you are interested.

I've got a JL 12W1 in a ported box and a Denon 550 2channel amp for sale. The sub is well run in and sounds excellent!!!

I have recently changed all my kit around hence why these are for sale! give me a shout at 'layme22@hotmail.com', and i'm sure we can come to an arrangement.

The denon 550 is a 4 channel amp dummy. If you want a sub you cant do any better than a JL. I'd rather eat my car than have anything vibe near it. Dont touch the stuff. Buy the JL if its under £80 for the sub and box.

Money the reason i ask is i came second at doncaster this year in my Red VW Sharan which was running 8 15inch Diamonds and 8 2,000 watt amps
it only managed 154 Db at the show it normally does 158Db!!!!

I am now doing an mk 3 astra van with 5 15s and 10 amps hoping to get 160!!!!!!!!
2 of my mates have done 162 in a 106 and 172!!!!!!!!(europen record) in a silly golf!

Ive got a mate in Wales who has a van and did some sick install in that. Dont think he has entered sound offs though yet.

The golf, i think i know the one. is that the one where they had to put loads of concrete or something in it?!

Have you tried the Kicker subs yet? I like the Kicker van, very nice
