Thinking of sending a core to the USA to get it done, I have one spare TD05 which I think I'll need as the compressor wheel on my original one has a chip out of it ! $480 for complete job with 18G compressor wheel.
Still to check postage but if I leave the exhast housing off, it aint that heavy

Thanks ssubaru, Sounds fine to me I'll tie up with you to have a look shortly, the wheels n tyres have gone i'm afraid.
Are you going to the 'Subaru Spectacular' at knockhill on the 8th Sept ?

Thanks Ssubaru for your time tonight, you've at least put my mind at ease. Returned home just now so will have to leave intercooler removal until tomorrow. Will give Duncan a phone anyhow tomorrow when quiet at work and have a natter re: dump valve. Will keep in touch.....
BTW - After I left you I passed Red S plate with STi5 rear spoiler who acknowledged me in Main St Bainsford.
