friend of mine has just contacted me looking for an impreza.

he doesnt know enough to search himself and doesnt have a spec in mind except new as possible and under 30k miles.

I am going to vet anything that comes his way so if anyone has anything to look at let me know.

I am pushing him more towards stis rather than uks.

Mines up for more than £12k and > 30k miles but I think it's a great car, with lots of extras. Subaru extendable warranty should allay any concerns re mileage.

If he'd consider a UK car, my MY00 with 34,000 miles is up for £12,500 - I would do it for £12,000 if he wants to sort out his own extended warranty and new tyres (there is still some life left in the current set).
