Default Any idea?

Evening all just after some advice. I have a classic turbo 2000 running over 300bhp but I have recently noticed a problem and was wondering if anyone had any idea what the problem could be. Everytime I start the car be it in the morning or after it has been left for a while I notice that after a few minutes while warming up after starting the revs drop then return to normal again it does this for around a minute or so then idles fine. I have no check engine light on the car drives fine but my first though was the maf sensor but any ideas what the problem could be please. Thanks in advance.

Try disconnecting the maf sensor and see if it idles any better. Is there anyone close to you with a classic that you can borrow the maf off for a cold start?

It could be the idle control valve, common problem on the classics

Disconnecting the MAf is not going to prove anything. To quote the words of "splitpin" (very clever ex scobbynet member)

This "test" is complete bullsh*t and gives you no indication whatsoever about any of the hardware in your car, let alone the "health" of the airflow meter.
