Hello, i've just come back from mot and the guy told me she is running extremly rich on fuel and that i need to get it tunned?

Any idea how I can do this?

Are your MAF and lamda sensors ok?

Yer they are fine, she does back fire a bit and smells of petrol when started! I do 110 miles to a full tank, tidy driving to work!

I'd be looking for air leaks (hose clip off?) or split intercooler first of all.

Right ok, I had the inter cooler off last weekend changing the starter, didn't notice any problems but wasn't looking either lol. I'll have to have another look! Need to do something it's costing a bomb ha ha

Like said above, if no mods and standard impreza, air leaks could be possible but it would run abit lumpy and you may hear hissing sounds when driving.

Otherwise o2 sensor, maf possibly but if the knock sensor is dodgy, this could also effect it.
