I was gonna ask you about your vf29 as well Ian, I'm currently running one on my car and don't plan on changing it as I'm happy enough, but thought it'd be handy to have one spare. Never mind , as you say, "we must be 'lert"

Gutted,

How did you find the VF29? Do they spool up well?

Cheers

I bought it as a replacement for my VF28 as I thought that was getting on a bit. Lee (Catalunya 172)had a look and the VF28 is in top condition, so needs must and I sold it.

The VF 28 and 29 are pretty much the same. Good spool up and holds on to quite high up in the rev range. If your after a quick squirt then a VF22/23 may be OK.
