Default Wheel Colour Choice
I've bought a set of Hawkeye STi Spec D wheels like the pic below:



The wheels need a refurb and I'm going for a colour change as well, but which colour?

I did think about the following colours: gunmetal (same as current wheels and works well), dark bronze, matt black or gold. Any other colours I should consider apart from white that is.

whats the pcd on your hubs Ty ?

those sti wheels will only fit MY05 sti onwards

best to check before painting

Anthracite is a good choice but remember that it can vary significantly depending on the colour code, from looking almost silver to nearly black.

I'm leaning towards anthracite (but it might be too close to gunmetal for me) or a 'reddish' bronze in a matt finish.

I'm still open to suggestions though.

ps I was wondering who would notice the PCD difference first, so the prize goes to Geraint.

I've ordered CDF Racing hubcentric wheel spacers/PCD adaptors which should be arriving tomorrow.

i have the same problem as you

my car is an 05 sti in black so what colour wheels for me?

also my 2nd problem is the center caps would they flake after a while etc

silver , hate the black ones , hope they do a better job than the ones i fitted for you the last time, if you remmember the laquer was soft as ****e and they pitted with brake dust within a few weeks
