Should this have happened ???
Further to my other thread about the clutch - i have just come back from the garage and here are a few pics of the clutch
The rivets have completely sheared but as you can see from the other parts of the clutch, there is hardly any wear on it at all.....
Should this have happened ???
I dont launch the car off the lights and the clutch has done roughly 6.5k, nearly all of that easy driving.
This went bang at 30mph !!!

Looks like the clutch was found wanting as it's been ripped apart!!

You would usually expect to see that kind of failure through abuse and LC but as said it's not been abused so I would contact the seller.

Have spoken to Alyn and sent him some pictures so will see what he has to say
That's an AP Organic clutch as well

Top service from Lateral Performance, who supplied my pink box Exedy Racing Clutch (fitted today).
Tony, as everyone else has said, speak to the supplier mate, very strange.
