Changing spark plugs
Guys
Just how big of a job is it.?
I've always serviced my own cars and rebuilt many motorcycle engines over the years. Since I've had the scoob I've changed the oil and filter no probs ( and replaced worn drop links ) but in a few months I'll want to be replacing the plugs and as I'm unfamiliar with the flat four layout I think I'll be needing some pointer as how to get to the plugs.
Is there a how to guide on the forum or do we have someone who can watch over me while I do it.
I have access to a pit which I use to do the oil&filter will this aid in changing the plugs ?
Cheers
Taffy

Easy enough job the left hand side is abit of a squeeze though and is easier to do part from above and part from below.
edit to add, do a search and something will come up on a plug change guide.

It's not that bad a job to do. Its just the removing of other stuff to get at them is the most time consuming. Trick is to get the right length extension bar to reach the plug and not be to long to foul on the chassis. Give it a go don't be afraid.

easy enough job to do, did mine the other day. on the N/S, i took out the battery and washer bottle to get a good view and access to the plugs and on the O/S, the airbox and a few induction pipes. as dylan said, make sure you use the right extension bar on the plug socket, crack them off using the ratchet, then using just the socket and extension, undo by hand or the ratchet will get stuck against the chassi leg.
