Looking at a few scoobs, mainly interested in sti's. got about 6k to spend, looked at 1 from a garage in Newport today (l;ink below). Did it belong to anyone on here? I just want to get as much info as possible before I decide what to do. You know what its like the salesman will tell you anything!!! Someone else was looking at it and seemed very interested in it.

I'd like to see the Kevlar Recaro Bucket seats? Because they look like normal STi seats to me.
Rich are there fogs behind the covers?
What's the Driver Information System?
Still got the OE Sigma Alarm Fobs. It looks quite clean too. Bit of a bargain but have a close look mate take someone who knows what they are looking for.
Best of luck but it's a buyers market.

Yep it didn't have kevlar seats when I had it, standard Sti interior - no front fogs - 6 speed, it's a PPP too - no driver info system either, whatever that is, speedo etc LOL - looks like a generic description to me !!
Thanks guys, its also got a few small scrape marks on each side of the back bumper, then the person must of then decided to get a rear parking sensor!! It also has a little oil by the crank shaft pully, nowt much but it's there.

Don't want to appear **** but here is a list of the bits I did to it :
Added the rear wing, Mudflaps, pink Sti badges front and rear, side marker delete's, Momo gear ****, Afterburner Vortex, decat, deresonator pipe and Afterburner rear box, HKS Induction kit and Bailey Dump Valve, had the rear windows tinted and unfortunately, the left hand rear bumper scrape is down to me !!! didn't fit a rear park sensor though - scraped it on my pebble dashing !!! DOH. I loved that car !!! Had to sell it cos I injured my foot.
P.S. The later style bonnet vent has been added later too

Welcome to the Forum, I'm sure that the car was well cared for by Simon (RF555) despite him not being able to park it.
Take your time as it's a buyers market out there at the moment and if you bide your time and are patient there are some nice cars out there at low money at the moment.
The oil leak by the crank pulley could be the front crankshaft oil seal which sits behind the oil pump.
