Walbro fuel pump any where between £50 (second hand) and £100 brand new. Essential for a Re-map.

Re-map - Speak to Cannon Fodder, he's arranged some top remaps with Bob Rawle and he's a top bloke.

Uprated discs and Pads - Locally you have Ian Godney and he's very good and very reasonable too.

Suspension is a whole world of opinion and what works for you. It could be that just uprating the standard springs will be good enough but Camskills supply standard and uprated shocks cheap.

The money pit is endless and who'll spend it is bigger.

A few I forgot to mention.

A better freer flowing exhaust and/or sport cat.

Try a better panel filter. Induction kits are only really needed for big BHP or you like the noise, Litchfield Type 25 run 415 on a standard air box.

Bigger intercooler. Subaru where very clever (cheap skates) and fitted brackets capable of taking the STi intercooler without mods. It does get snug though.

As it's a WRX anything + 300 bhp and the clutch and box will be under a fair bit of extra stress. So, think about that as well.

Uprated rear arb is a must, the wrx shoks are ok but i would recomend a set of whiteline flatout springs for the looks and performance, a good brake upgrade would be a godspeed big disc kit as the std subaru 4pots are quite powerfull but will fade after abit of abuse or possiblly a set of second hand sti brembo's, you should see about 260bhp ish with a remap alone but as Ian said uprate the fuel pump as a precausion.
That little lot should set you back iro £1500 if purchased new, got any of your rainy day fund left? we'll spend it for you

Go back to a normal recirculatory dump valve, unless you just like the noise and attention they bring. They do nowt else. Again most high BHP Scoobs retain the recirculatory type.

Is it the HKS Green Sponge type? It as the flow properties of a breeze block (IMHO) having used them in the past. Sorry to be boring but again Litcho's cars run 400 + on K&N Panel filters and normal DV's.

You might also want to consider an STi top mount intercooler as well, although not absolutely necessary it will give gains over the WRX item.

As it happens, I might know someone who might have one for sale shortly along with an STI scoop and undertray...

As per BD's earlier post I can thoroughly recommend Bob Rawle as he has mapped 3 Impreza's for me and will shortly be remapping my car again, plus the 30+ very happy customers of a Group Buy I ran last year would recommend him as well.

You'd only really NEED to upgrade the intercooler if you intend to upgrade the turbo, the wrx cooler is good for all the td04 can give, i ran an 06 wrx cooler at 330bhp for a while without issue, i'd go 200 cell as some 100 cell sport cats strugle with the emissions at mot time but if the mot isnt a problem go de-cat + de-cat up pipe.

IMHO the best route to go is fit STI bits to ur car.....

I'd go for a VF35 turbo (sti), STI top mount and scoop, Walbro Pump, sports cat and a re-map....
Brakes - the best option for the money IMO is a second hand set of Brembo, these wont fit with WRX wheels though....
Handling - i'd go for a decent set of lower springs, uprated rear anti-roll bar and drop links and a good Geometry setup....

Defo agree with the geometry setup, it was during my run home following my geo setup at powerstation that i realised i'd need to upgrade my brakes, the car handled so much better and made the corner entry speed higher and the brakes were'nt up to it.
