Bob has mapped 3 Impreza's for me and I ran a group buy on Scoobynet where some 30+ cars were remapped by Bob and everyone was happy with the results achieved.
Are you going to carry out any modifications before it is remapped such as the exhaust system, air filter? If you post up what your planning on here then I'm sure we can advise you on the best route to take.
We have meets down in the Swansea area although there hasn't been one for a while so if one happens shortly then pop along, failing that there is a monthly meet in Cardiff. I live in Llanelli and there are quite a few members in the Llanelli/Swansea/Neath areas.

So then Jarvis, if that is the case are you going to drive the car up to bonny Scotland, imagine all the risk of rain and your car getting the slightest bit dirty on the journey.
And more to the point are you still having Ecutek RaceRom put onto your beast when it's released?

Its not so much the rolling road facilities they have, but their experience mapping the Subaru engine that counts. My suggestions for a mapper would be either Andy Forrest or Bob Rawle, i found both excellent and plenty willing to supply free advice.

I didn't think that Andy Forrest did mobile mapping any more?
I'd still get Andy to do it.

Remap
Hey guys. The car is already decatted with a full ss exhaust system and induction kit. The car is booked in with Duncan of racedynamix. Its being mapped wednesday morning.
Big thanks to cannon fodder for coming over and doing a bit of diagnostics with the laptop
Cant wait to get it mapped and get a bit of boost through it, iv been driving round like a fairy for about a week now.
I will be up for the next localish meet, might aswell come and say hello

Mapping
Big thankyou to duncan @ racedynamix
The car was mapped today and im really pleased with the results. Made a big difference and gave it that extra bit of grunt it needed.
I have already ordered a frontmount so it will need more tweaks in the near future, and also got my eye on some coilovers. Let the build begin

Glad to hear that all went well, what figures did you achieve?
My FMIC should be fitted soon, you are more than welcome to have a look when installed.
I had coilovers fitted on my car when I had it, but I've junked them and now fitted pink STi shock absorbers with Prodrive lowering springs.
To be honest the best way to improve your handling would be a set of Prodrive lowering springs, Whiteline rear 22mm anti roll bar, uprated drop links and a proper geometry setup.
I have the above with a few differences ie a 25mm rear anti roll bar and a 22mm front anti roll bar and the handling is far better than what I had with coilovers.
