What a day!
I had the great pleasure of helping Pippyrips machine polish his GTR.
But what a pain the in the arris! There is not one straight line on the bloody thing. Taping up was a nightmare, when you get close the lines are all curves and the aerodynamics are even more apparent.
8 hours of cleaning, polishing and waxing . But the Race Glaze wax is fecking awesome. Sample pots (about the size of a 10p and about an inch thick) are £5 a shot or £65 for a big one.
Sadly, I couldn't have my go in the drivers seat as I was running late for dinner with the family . But I am on a promise
Pippyrips where's the pictures?

Firstly, major thanks to Ian for letting me use his spare hanger, you will see fom the pics there was some interesting machinery dotted about the place
It turns out the Captain makes a pretty decent bitch and was very useful when it came to prepping!
I started out with the intention of take pics along the way but that went out of the window so only have 'afters'. All in all i'm pretty pleased with the results:
and finally my favourite pic:
Thanks again Ian

Brilliant work there both that's a big old lump to do it's only when you have done a car with a machine do you realise just how physically and mentally demanding this can be. Great to have the bat cave there especially this weather as you could never do that in the sunshine.
