Depends on budget to be honest. If u got about a grand spare. I'd look at getting a second hand straight through exhaust (decat). Performance air filter and remap.

I'd do the suspension first and then I'd move onto exhaust and remap.

As for looks, I would go for wheels, tints and then front splitter.

Also, you could go for a roof flap for the extra Air conditioning.

Just looks at the moment, cash not a major issue, car looks pretty standard, don't like the rear spoiler much, alloys are standard etc.
was thinking about fog covers also and those wing fin things (how would I match the paint? (sorry blonde moment lol)

How about removing the orange indicator lenses from the front lights.

Free mod there

Brakes are a good upgrade, Brembos off the STi aren't cheap but very effective

As said above, free flowing exhaust (3 inch), panel filter and remap and the car will breathe a lot better!

£650 for an ecutek remap. Although if you can get in a group buy somewhere, you can get them a lot cheaper. You won't be disappointed though

I would uprate the suspension first (rear anti-roll bar with uprated drop links, plus a set of Prodrive lowering springs), brakes (STi Brembo's with uprated Performance Friction brake pads or similar), decat the exhaust system or at least get a sports cat fitted and decat the centre section.

Change the standard air filter element for a K&N or TSL Green Hybrid filter elements, change the fuel tank pump for a Walbro 255lph pump and a remap.

I am running a Group Buy with Bob Rawle at the moment and it offers a considerable saving on the 'normal' price of around £630, the price open to everyone on this is £470 saving around £160. A link to the Group Buy is listed below, Bob is one of the best if not the best mappers in the UK and travels all over the world mapping.

First off though I would sort out the suspension and brakes as these will transform the car, good luck with the modifications whichever route you chose to go down first.

Post up when you are ready to carry out whichever modifications you decide on and we can advise you on the best places to purchase from in terms of price and quality.

As CF said.

But consider just better Brake fluid (Dot5.1), pads and discs will make a whole heap of difference, as will lighter wheels with good tyres (whole new can of worms). I fitted STi Shocks with Eibach spring to my WRX and they where a great upgarde.

It's your call but subtle is on the external mod front.
