fitted my boost gauge, wired it up and connected it straight to inlet manifold spare pipe and no reading. was fitted into dv pipe but that didnt work either. its not a stepper version????????

Its worth checking your pipe work and guage for little blanking plugs.
You never know!

The pipe's not obstructed somewhere on it's journey into the car is it Rich, crimped itself against something ?????

Which 'inlet manifold spare pipe'. And have you checked the wiring and fuse. Any pics

have to try this just to see if it working

Don't think it is crimped anywhere, have to have a proper look in the week

The small 4/5mm ish one one the front right side as you look at it, it's all lit up so wiring should be fine
