Default engine steam cleaning

Does anyone know where i can get my engine cleaned in Cardiff/S.wales? I'm pressuming that steam cleaning is the way to go??,and will not do any damage?

Even steam cleaning involves some water sloshing around but had mine and a few of the guys in the club with a valeter in pontypool who charges just £6 for an engine bay clean

He guys i live real close to pontypool and woud be up for getting my engine steam cleaned (provided it is defo safe)

If you live close pay him a visit, he's a really nice guy it's in New Inn Pontypool down the side of Cartridge World....We had a group clean last year 3 newages done and 3 classics all with no problems...

if your in any doubt with electrics just wrap them up in a plastic bag and tape them up with insalation tape

just go wild with the wd40 after the clean and obviously dont wash the altinator or anything like that... i do mine often with no problems

Ditto. But I use a fine spray, engine cleaner and not pressure to clean mine out.

i got a big diesel presure washer in the garage and ive used it to clean anything and everything. not had any problems yet..

the last job it was used for was getting the car from blue back to silver
well it did around the edges of where the paint come off from removing the graphix
