Default as most of you are doing cam belts at the moment i thought i would post this up

its from autodata and it goes through the whole prossess.

i can print off all the distructions and diagrams and send them to anyone but heres a
front on diagram with timing marks etc for the people who have a bit of know how

This is great My next job !! Reading the bad stories on here, think I'll go for replacing the tensioners and pulleys too

ill print you it out and let you have full size image so you can read it properly also it gives you step by step instructions on doing it,
when you thinking of doing it ? before the next meet?

i was doing mine today, wish u could lock those bloody cams in place. get it all timed up, just putting the belt round the last tensioner and slip the cam goes out of time. bloody things

just clamp with two small mole grips

the way i locked mine was a long nose molegrip on the right hand side pullys
and i knocked a wedge of wood between the lefthand side... took the cam belt off with no movement at all

wedge of wood

i use a bar with 2 sockets on that holds the nuts on the cam wheels and can change them to allan key type socket if needed for newer models

then just 2 small mole grips on the other side
