If anyone HAS to get about , I have a few sets of gravel wheels and tyres in the workshop to fit the Impreza , I will lend them out if someone is stuck , as long as you dont wear them out playing
They work as I had a great laugh driving the rally car home tonight
Cheers Ian

Will they fit a 26 ton Mercedes lorry? Think i'm going to need them tomorrow, i'm supposed to be delivering to Crick Howell, up near Brecon, among others
I'm betting the A465 will be closed and put pay to that though.

As for the tires thats one nice offer OP.....thanks but I made it home safe & sound thanks to the Subarus AWD system and some rubbish Kenda Kaiser tires with good tread left
Passed so many BMW's and other 2wd's on the hills, who's drivers where forced to endure a long cold walk home unfortunately for them.
Just been out to fuel up the car and judging by the grip, or lack of, Crick Howell is a definate no no!
I've learnt to carry my sleeping bag in the cab at all times and she's got a comfy bunk and excellent night heater. Oh and i'm always stacked to the nines with food.

Bloody hell, top man! There are not many people that would make an offer like that and if i was closer i would probably take you up on it if just for half an hour to see how it handles becasue at the moment its like bambi on ice!!
I have been having some great fun in the wifes polo though, its amazing how sideways you can actually get a FWD car and still stay in control, it feels safer than the scoob in this weather!
Slightly off subject too, could you PM me a price for the rear handbrake shoes for the WRX Brembo conversion? Changing the discs revealed mine are shot to pieces already!
