Default The cars gone

Well as you know i put a thread up last week saying "selling the car".
Today the new owner gavin picked her up, i was gutted watching the car drive off.
i hope he gets as much enjoyment from owning the car as i had

You're not going to get rid of me just because i don't own a subaru anymore,as i am still a member of sidc

Mark,

Feel gutted for you but when the time is right I'm sure another will appear.

It goes without saying that you will always be welcome, make of the car is unimportant its people that count.

Mark that was a cracking car you had and you obviously took pride in it and it showed, it was a fine example of a modified classic and the new owner had a real bargain.

Not long after I had my car and needed to get a set of wheel nuts sharpish you helped me out and would not take a penny in return, that really showed me how Impreza owners and members of SWS are a cut above.

And of course you introduced Ryan to the wonderful world of Subaru ownership but for that we can forgive you.

Give it time and you will be back in an Impreza and in the mean time borrow Ryan's or Chris's. See you at the next meet.

Hi mate - don't worry I promise to take good care of it.

Just a note to say Mark is a really genuine guy, he couldn't have been more helpful when I bought the backbox off him and nothing has changed.

All the best mate and if you do need a lift to the meets just let me know, I would be happy to take you

Thought that would have been a car to keep. Especially for the price it was bought for.
Depends what circumstances are though.

Yeah I'm afraid it is down to circumstances as I have told Mark. Unfortunately my wife has been told that she is losing her job in a few weeks time so I can no longer keep the car.

I'm gutted as Mark has done a fantastic job on it but I can't justify keeping it. As the wife said "the house comes first, we can't live in the car!"
