First off!! ever so sorry i couldnt make it today Ian (blue dragon), been having issues with my clutch and because my car is a daily driver i had to rip it apart and find out whats wrong. sorry mate. if you still need a hand tomorrow give me a shout

well i decided i would take the box out as i though my pressure plate might have been at fault and this might be part of the reason why my clutch pedal aint returning properly. that or the release bearing.

8 this moring i got the car on the ramp and started on my way

and what was hiding under the box

i had no idea the car was running this type of upgrade. it felt like it had one but i had never driven a subaru before this so i didnt know what to expect.

turns out to be a exedy paddle clutch and a lightened and balanced flywheel

im well happy i got this kit. even though i still didnt manage to fix my problem

That's definately a nice surprise....lucky you hadn't bought a new clutch & lightened flywheel before discovering that . My clutch wasn't returning properly so had a small tension spring fitted near the servo and now it works a treat(fitted spring just under the TMIC).

if i was you i would change it to either a 6 puck or just a normal exedy plate myself as the 3 puck is harsh and have less life in them with your clutch problem with the pedal not returning did you blead both the clutch nipples ??
is it you that is building a 2.5 ??

there is one in the engine bay on drivers side behined the suspension you need to bleed this first then bleed the cluch slave after just follow the pipe back from the clutch slave

i have a project thread on building a 2.5 so if you need any help let me know

i notice that both brake and clutch lines go to this valve. is there any special way to bleed it or is it just the same as normal. and just do the clutch pedal?
