Default another mot pass

5 years 5 mots no fails one advis pin hole in the down pipe do i get it welded or do i go for a decat down pipe?

If you decat the pipes it would need to be mapped.

Probably better off getting a sports CAT DP. You won't have MOT problems next time round.

Good stuff though really. Almost every car I've had has failed the MOT first time round (no matter what garage I take them to).
I'm hoping for better from my classic. Passed last time/first time with only an advisory which I've sorted so fingers crossed for Oct.

P.S If you do go for a de-cat you will probably have problems passing the MOT emmisions tests. Unless they can help you out i.e: swap de-cat for catted pipe during MOT test...or...if UK version test to Import emmisions levels which are higher...or grease his palms
