What Tyres and...
Hi guys, actually feel quite lazy asking all these question and not researching myself
Anyway, Rims have now been purchased but they didn't offer a tyre package. Im currently seeking some advice on what tyre's you all use/recommend and your experiences please. Taking into account that these wheels wont be used on track just on the road. I'll be looking for 215/35/R18 tyres where would you suggest I looked to get the best price, probably willing to stretch to about 80-100 a corner. Im assuming that should get me something fairly tidy.
Cheers Ryan.

Think I'll stick for a 35 Profile otherwise i think the rolling size is to big for the classic (not that i know a geat deal), its not my daily drive and I dont mind the rough ride

Hi mate, yeah just been doing some research and the Falken seem like a cheap alternative, maybe an option if im trying to do it on a bit of a budget, 80-100 is a ballpark figure but i dont mind spending alot less

When I was looking for new tyres price was not my main buying factor; I looked at the reviews and user comments on Scoobynet. Many rate them more highly than some of the tyres from the likes of Goodyear etc.
My car is a weekend car only covering around 100 miles a week but even so 35 profile would be too harsh with even standard suspension.
I did however manage to get them for a cracking price inc fitting as my brothers mate has his own tyre business.

I was actually running the Falkens on my last set of wheels and couldn't fault them, perhaps you could put me in touch for a good price
As for the profile its not really a problem anything is going to be softer than my previous wheels. The offset was incorrect and they were rubbing, so the coilovers have been set to hard with the spring load right up, theres is next to no bounce Actually that reminds me I need to get hold of some c spanners for Tein Coilovers.

I'm running Yokohama Parada spec 2's here, a good range of sizes but side walls are a little stiffer hence a slightly stiffer ride.

Another vote for the Falkens. Cannon Fodder will sort you out a good price, and the guys take care when mounting the tyres, they done mine without leaving a mark on the alloys. Make sure you apply plenty of poorboys wheel sealant to keep those new rims looking good.
