Hi Carl, thanks for the input... so does your fog only work when the headlights are on?... i read its not suppose to be able to come on when only the side lights are enabled.

also what would I require?.. I have the OE switch with plenty of wires sticking out of it hehe and also a Fog bulb and thats all.

diagram would be tops pal ... thanks for your time

Mine was wired in when I got it, if I had to choose I would have a seperate one and hinge it up out of the way when not required.

I've done the same as Merv on the 22B (i.e. wired a red LED brake light in the drivers side reverse light on a relay through a genuine Subaru fog light switch)... Lovely and OEM looking!

Thanks for the kind advice... and thanxs carl for offering to come up.

My mate wired it in for me, but it comes on with sidelights too.... hope it passes MOT.

Just a point do you mean that it comes on when you press the fog light switch with the side lights on or that it always come on with the side lights?

If it is the first answer then it is ok and will pass, if it is the second it will fail the test.

hehe... its the First ... I worded it hella wrong didn't I... eeeek...... thanxs for double checking tho

The switch light itself doesn't come on tho... that needs a lil' tweaking!.... was wondering if the light on your fog light switch comes on? and is there an indicator light on the switch that tells you the fog is on?

No I get a warning light come on in the instrument panel, I think though that you do need a warning light either on the switch or instrument panel.

I had to wire in a foglight and switch to my classic a few years back, it wasn't in the OE light though, mounted under the bumper style - but i got an illuminated switch from halfords which was fitted in the armrest where some other switch should have been (blanked) that used to pass the MOT......

Look at getting a 100 cell sports cat if you can, not as restrictive as a 'normal' cat and will still pass the emissions.

Mervil and Ricyh B - or anyone else that can help! - I bought this bulb:-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

Thing is, it's about 0.5-1mm to wide to fit in the bulbholder!

Which LED bulb did you two buy... or did you both have to file away the grey plastic of the cluster's bulbholder a bit, to be able to make it fit in?
