Porsche Brake Conversion Pics
I had the Porsche brake calipers fitted to my car today and I am already very pleased with the greater braking force.
I have added some pics and before anyone mentions it I know the wheels need a good clean which I will be doing tomorrow, perhaps.
The previous owner of the calipers had them coated with a carbon fibre finish which looks unusual as I had expected them to be either red or yellow coated.

I hope so
Well after the suspension geometry, brake conversion and the mapping I guess it will all be down to the driver and not the car, bloody hell how can I upgrade myself?
I hope now you and Dylan do not leave me for dust on the next run.

great brakes fella but not sure on the carbon look as it does not do them justice and think that if they were a nice bright colour they would show them up even better thats just my opinion tho

I have not really tried them out yet but they stop you pretty quickly down from 70 and they haven't even bedded in yet , once bedded in I would think it might encourage some more spirited driving.

Hi
These calipers are sold by Comp brake , they are chinese copies of the Porsche calipers which is why they dont have Porsche down the front of them , they come red yellow or like yours , I have used them in the past and they are quite a good caliper
Cheers Ian

As Newton's third law, Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Tyron goes from 4 pots to 6 pots and Dylan goes from 2 pots to 4 pots LOL
Thank you again.

Thank you again.

They worked very well today although I would say that the pads do make a bit more noise than the old 4 pots, but this is to be expected I imagine when you are heavy braking down from a fair bit more (you'll never take me alive copper) than the legal speed limit.

I was thinking of trying some caliper stickers on them before I go down the route of having them repainted, but which colour stickers should I go for? I was thinking of white or yellow.
