Had my car mapped last Saturday by Bob and I am very pleased with the results.
As VC said, it makes the car totally different to the base spec and it's money well spent IMO. Bob reckons the base Spec C runs at about 280bhp, peaking at 1.5bar boost but only holding 1.1-1.2bar.
On the power run post-mapping it returned 270bhp at the wheels, which is 330-340bhp at the fly wheel, with the 10bhp variance being determined by different rolling roads setups. He said the torque will also be "at least" (said with a grin by him
) the same, so 340/340+
It's now peaking at 1.6-1.7bar and holding 1.4-1.5 bar all the way to ~6.5k-7k rpms, where it tails off to 1.2bar up to the 8.25k redline.
I had a chat about the next stage (
) and he's recommended a stage 2 of full 3" decat, K&N induction kit and uprated turbo actuator, which should return 370bhp.
HAPPY DAYS - EVEN MORE AWESOME CAR THAN BEFORE!

Hi Rich,
just seen this post.
Bet the car flies now, massive difference from before eh?
Just be a bit careful on the old K+N side of things, they tend to destroy MAF sensors.
All the best mate, hope you are well.
