Default timing belt

hi all i was reading scoobynet general where someone advised to get the belt changed around every 3 year's. has my car is 3yrs and done 34k i welcome your thought's

Steve if you are getting it changed, pm lee (catalunya 172) he did mine.
He does a top job and will save you loads compared to a main dealer.

i'm getting a price of stich (riverside garage ton) on weds. i doubt it will be cheap but that's life. mark what sort of milage did you get your's done

What model? My Blobeye's timing belt is due 5 yrs or 60K

Just had mine done even though the milage is only 35K cos she's 5 yrs old...Keith Price fixed price servicing..Tming belt and 60K service all in parts and labour £400

Plus the peace of mind of main dealer service

steve i'm not sure when it was first changed as my car was on 64,000 miles when i bought it.

When lee stripped it down the belt looked new, but he changed the belt and tensioner for peace of mind

If you can't get any info on here, put the thread up on the tech forum.

Timing belts should be changed every 45,000 miles or three years depending which comes sooner.
