Thats not a bad price at all , a full service should entail draining the r134 gas from your air con system and disposal of the gas, pressure checking for leaks, deodorising the system so they remove the bacteria that builds up in the trunking to your air vents and finally re-charging the system and checking that it operates correctly.
If they do this for £55 I would be more than happy to pay it.

As above, we do a de-contamination and system check for £29 and the full service with new gas, filter & de-contamination is £99, so £55 for a full air con servise is

It would seem a good price then, this "mobile" service is based in Maesteg, I think I will have it done not knowing if it's been looked at, as my A/C compressor went on an ald WRX (95) I had, lots of black smoke through bonnet scoop, on the way to Swansea - I cacked myself, thought the engine had packed up and a God awful wheezing/whining noise, ran it "un-plugged" (A/C that is) forever after ..................I was always gutted on hot days, thanks for heads up guys - I can ask more questions about what he does now .

Should take him about an hour to do it properly, this is the cycle to recover old gas then re-gas the system, change polen filter and discharge the anti fungal canister (or equivelant method) through the system, just make sure he does all of this, i think he will only run a dye through your system if his machine detects a leak.
