In the picture below you can see my air filter is wedged under the FMIC pipe. is there any filter or pipework i can get to get it away from the FMIC pipe.

i have a starnge squeeky air leak type of a noise wen im in boost and im thinkin its the air tryin to rush past the the pipework into the air filter



any1 have any other ideas wot the newly named "air squeek" could be

im going to try capture the noise on my phone on the weekend maybe it will help in finding the reason

is your air filter stainless steal or cotton if stainless could be the air sucking through the stainless mesh
any vacume pipes split or loose maybe?
dumpvalve leaking or dv gasket leaking?
air filter rubbing in intercooler pipe?

the air filter is definatly rubbing the FMIC pipe & my air cone has a metal meshing aswell. i think ill make a braket at work to pull the cone down abit altho i dont think ill be able to do this once the metal air intake pipe is fitted. we'll see
