both went flying past me, and the corsa was gaining some serious ground [fast]

nah, it were a turbo ..... no two ways about it.....

and to be fair... the corsa was QUICK !

maybe a standard one and a played with corsa..............

take it on the chin guys !! theres ALWAYS something quicker

may be a 2litre 16v on twin carb corsa or may be a red top turbo conversion

Corsa's built well can be seriously quick. A friend of mine built one with the 2.0 16v turbo engine in and was dyno'd at 330bhp at the flywheel. Also fitted was a Quaife LSD so put the power dow quite well (in the dry) And with it being stripped out it only wheighed 995kgs

Would'nt be surprised if it was a Corsa turbo, was a common conversion and worked very well!!

had a play with one just before christmas dark blue or black went past him on this road and then he chased after me would say not standard can pull away from astra vxr and type r much quicker but then again lots of **** infront of me so could not give it the full beans
